March Bread and More!

I wanted to thank all of you who purchased bread this past month. Our first offering sold out and I am so happy! It was nice to meet you in person so we can begin to know each other. This month, in addition to the bread, I will offer two different items you might be interested in. For the first week (March 7 pick up) I will offer my favorite Orange Tart. This tart holds a special memory for me because it was the first thing I ever baked with my mother when I was ten years old. We worked in her small kitchen together, using fresh ingredients and making everything from scratch. I have made it many times since; I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do. For the second week (March 28 pick up) I will offer a cookie bundle that includes three different kinds of freshly baked cookies. The first is chocolate-chocolate (imported from France); the second is a nut cookie from a variety of fresh nuts and seeds; and the third is a savory cookie with cheese and freshly ground black pepper. Each bundle will be a total of three dozen cookies, one dozen of each kind. They last for a long time so don't worry, you don't have to eat all at once!
